A protocol that describes how data packets are transferred across the Internet
and interpreted as an incoming message; a network layer for TCP/IP protocol. |
IP Address - Address of a computer
on a TCP/IP network; written as four groups of up to 3 digits, each separated
by a period as in 150-176.12-50 |
IPIX - A format for panoramic (36o
degree) view of images; requires special viewer software downloadable from

IRC (Internet Relay Chat) - Internet
