A TCP/IP utility that sends packets of information to a host computer which
determines if the host site computer is "up" and connected to the Internet. |
png - An alternative to GIF, preserving
all color information in an image, supports multilevel transparency and
uses a lossless compression to reduce file sec. Png creates a more
accurate color match with the original image. As PNG image is downloaded,
it gradually displays in your browser. Older browsers may not support
PNG format. |

retain original layouts so users see them exactly as created, including

a phone line; usually included with operating systems or can be downloaded
